"My reservation got messed up and the responses felt scripted"
I had a reservation and somehow it got messed up, and when I tried to get help, nobody really took responsibility. I kept getting the kind of polished, company-sounding replies that say a lot without actually fixing anything. It was frustrating because I didn’t need a perfect apology, I just needed someone to sort it out.

"Hot biryani, quick pickup"
I ordered biryani for pickup and overall it was a smooth experience. It was ready right on time and still nice and hot when I got it. The only small thing was that the pickup area felt a little rushed, so I had to double-check my order before leaving. But the staff was friendly, and the food hit the spot, so I’d definitely order again...

Just getting to this place was annoying. There’s basically no parking nearby, and it felt like every time I thought I had figured out where to go, the goalposts moved and I had to try something else. By the time I actually got there, I was already frustrated.

"Slow replies, come on now"
The food was decent, but the customer service was way too slow. I reached out about an issue with my order and the replies came late, and even then they weren’t all that helpful. For a place that’s well-known, I expected better. It wasn’t a horrible experience or anything, but come on now, a little more support would’ve made a big difference.

I liked the place mainly because the menu made ordering easy. It’s not just biryani — they had starters, curries, combos, and a bunch of other choices that all looked good. We were ordering for the family, and usually that gets tricky, but this time everyone found something they actually wanted without much back and forth.

I tried ordering from thalappakatti.com, the website made it more difficult than it needed to be. The pages were slow, adding items to the cart wasn’t smooth, and I had to double-check my order a couple of times because it didn’t seem to update properly. The payment page was also a bit confusing. The food itself is good, no doubt, but if customers are ordering online, the process should be simple and clear. The site really needs some fixing...

I expected half the menu to be unavailable since it was the weekend, but I was wrong. Most of the dishes I wanted were there, ordering was simple, and I didn’t run into that annoying out-of-stock thing this time.

Went here for dinner with my family and we actually ended up waiting almost 45 minutes just to get a table. The staff kept saying it would be 5 more minutes, but nothing seemed to be moving.

The food was okay once we finally got it, but the wait kind of ruined the mood. They actually need to handle the dine-in crowd a lot better, especially during busy hours

"Reminded Me of a Quick Homemade Meal"

"Okay food, but not worth the price"
I ordered from thalappakatti.com thinking the name would make it worth it, but the price felt a bit too much for the quantity. Once delivery charges and taxes were added, it felt even worse haha. The food was okay, not bad at all, but nothing really special for the rates. Felt like I paid restaurant prices and got a small, average meal. Probably won’t be ordering again anytime soon.

Ordered from thalappakatti.com the delivery was faster than I expected, actually, way faster than I thought it would be. The food arrived hot, and I didn’t have to wait around for long. Happy with the whole experience and I’ll definitely order again

"Parking was easy easy enough"
Went to thalappakatti last weekend parking was way easier than I thought it would be. I was expecting a headache, but nope nope, got a spot close by. The staff also guided us a little, which helped. The place was busy, so we did wait a few minutes, but overall it was convenient enough. Giving it 4 stars from me.

"Order Arrived Fast, But It Wasn’t Right"
I ordered from Thalappakatti recently, and while the food did arrive quickly, the order itself wasn’t correct. One item was missing, and the biryani I received was different from the one I had selected. I had also added extra gravy, but that didn’t come with the order either. The taste was okay, so I don’t really have a big complaint about the food itself. But when I’m paying the full amount, I expect the order to be packed properly and delivered as requested. Overall, I was a bit disappointed this time.

"Tasty, but I’m still side-eyeing the portion"
Ordered biryani from Thalappakatti the taste was good. The spices actually felt right, not like those bland online versions that make you wonder if they forgot half the masala. The mutton was soft too, which was a nice surprise. That said, for the price, I was kind of suspicious of the portion size — felt like it could’ve been a bit more. Still, it did taste close to eating at the actual restaurant, so I’d probably order again

"Place Felt Dirty and the Bill Felt a Bit Off"
I went to Thalappakatti recently and couldn’t enjoy the meal much. The tables were sticky, there were food bits on the floor, and the restroom had a bad smell. The staff was okay, but the whole place just didn’t feel clean. On top of that, the bill felt a little higher than expected, so I was wondering if there were some extra charges slipped in somewhere. Not the best experience.
